Nutritional info
MagicKitchen.com's recipes are reviewed by a professional dietitian to ensure that all of our meals are healthy and wholesome. All of our items are nutritious and delicious, with little or no preservatives (except as required by USDA). Not all menu items are low-fat or low-salt, unless specifically identified. Please check the nutritional information if you are on a special diet. We follow the recommendations offered by the American Heart Association.
We do periodic updates on our menu, with more choices; and we listen to you, the customer, to help us make those choices. Please contact us with any suggestions you may have.
On our menu, you will find a designation next to some menu items:
Low Fat | 3g or less of fat per 100g |
Low Sodium | Less than 400mg per main course, side dish, soup or dessert. However for a complete meal, less than 700mg. |
Low Carb | Less than 9g carb per 100g of food OR for a complete meal, less than 25g net carbs per serving |
One Serving | Servings are individually packaged, but sold in pairs. Good option for individual dining. |
Requires Cooking | Requires cooking (not just reheating) |
Vegetarian | No meat, poultry or fish. May contain eggs or dairy products |
Stovetop Meals | These meals need to be reheated in a skillet, or boiled in the bag, or otherwise cooked on the stovetop. |
Diabetic Friendly | These items are dietitian suggested for a diabetic friendly diet. They are designed to be healthy and low in sodium. |
Portion Controlled | Complete meals with a smaller portion of an entrée and side dishes. |
Dialysis Friendly | These items are dietitian suggested for a dialysis friendly diet. They contain a limited amount of sodium, potassium, and phosphorus. |
Renal Friendly | These items are dietitian suggested for a renal friendly diet. They contain a limited amount of sodium, potassium, phosphorus, and protein. |
Dairy Free | No milk, butter, cream, cheese or other dairy products. |
Gluten Free | Meals free of ingredients or additives derived from gluten-wheat, barley, rye or triticale. Not certified gluten free. Ingredient list compared to gluten-free item safe list. |
Kosher | Kosher. Our mighty shakes are Kosher certified with the Orthodox Union |
